Kildare Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) was established in 2014.
LCDCs are established in all Local Authorities and are part of Local Government Reform.
We have a key function to achieve joined up approaches to local and community development. The purpose of the Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) is to set out, for a six-year period, the objectives and actions needed to promote and support the economic development and the local and community development of Kildare.
