Kildare LCDC are inviting applications from community and voluntary groups in Kildare for the Community Support Fund 2023 (CSF) towards their running/operating costs and/or capital projects/equipment.
The Community Support Fund provides funding to community and voluntary groups and organisations in disadvantaged areas/target disadvantaged groups.
The CSF is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by the Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs) in each local authority area.
Kildare LCDC has received CSF funding to be allocated as follows;
a) €154,775 for use towards running/operating costs (electricity costs, refuse charges, heating charges or other non-pay operating costs e.g. rental/lease costs, insurance bills) incurred between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023 only.
b) €158,103 for use toward capital projects, carrying out necessary repairs and improvements to facilities, energy efficiency type projects, purchase of equipment, etc.
Groups/organisations applying for running/operating costs and/or capital projects/equipment can apply for funding up to a total maximum of €15,000 as follows;
- Running/operating costs – maximum application – €5,000
- Capital projects/equipment costs – maximum application – €10,000
Only one application per group/organisation per application process will be assessed.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. It is highly advisable that applicants give plenty of time to make their applications. As this is a new online system, it is recommended that applications are made at least ten days before the closing date. Any applications submitted by hand, post or email will not be considered.
